Our Story

Our story began in 2016 with a single swipe one small moment that changed everything. From those first messages to building a life and home together, it’s been the most incredible journey. In 2026, ten years on, we’ll be saying “I do” and officially becoming the Cramptons.

We’ve always loved hosting from crashing Tab’s student flat for pre-drinks and squeezing as many people as possible into our first little rental in Stapleford, to the slightly more grown-up gatherings in the home we’ve since renovated together, surrounded by laughter and the people we love most. The dirty pints and shotgunning beers might be behind us, but the love for a good party certainly isn’t.

Our wedding feels like the ultimate celebration of that everything up to now has been a warm-up for this moment. We’ve chosen to keep our day intimate, surrounded by the people who’ve shaped our lives and our love. We can’t wait to get dressed up, raise a glass and hit the dancefloor (twirls optional, lifts very likely) to celebrate the start of our next chapter together.

Accommodation​

For anyone wishing to make a weekend of it, we’ll be staying in a cottage at Oakerthorpe Village. There are plenty of other cottages nearby with rooms available.

Can I bring a plus one?

Please check your invitation for the names of the guests included.

Gifts

We truly don’t expect any gifts, but if you would like to give something, we’d be so grateful for a contribution towards our honeymoon.

Parking​

For all designated drivers (although highly discouraged), there is ample onsite parking.

What is the dress code?​

We would love to see you all dressed up, black tie optional. Full-length dresses are ideal, but a dressy midi or cocktail dress is absolutely fine too!

Can I bring my child?

We’re having a child-free wedding, with the exception of a couple of close family children.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 1:30pm, so please arrive by 1:00pm to be seated comfortably and on time.

When’s the RSVP deadline?

Please let us know if you are able to attend by February 10th.

Who should I tell if I have a food allergy?

Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary requirements when you RSVP, and we’ll make sure the venue is informed.
